This course provides the key information about the financial reforms that are covered under this Act.
In the first part, the course discusses the causes and effects of the recent financial crisis and continues to explain the origin and objectives of the Act. It explains the impact, overall reforms, and titles of the Act in line with the recent changes. The course also discusses other aspects such as initial assessment, the regulation of credit rating agencies, financial reforms and the potential areas for future change. It also makes an attempt to discuss the various regulations to protect investors and consumers and the regulation of corporate governance. In the final section, the course portrays the reforms of Federal Reserve and regulation of derivatives.
